昨天和可愛又熱情的Paula碰面,她問了我一些
關於這次響板演出和土耳其樂團之間
是如何完成的,
我想大家應該也都很想知道
I meat lovely Paula last night , She asked me some questions about
How did we completed my zilli with DIR
I think people will wonder how did we did it .
和DIR合作的Orieantal Song ,
是我們趁著在淡水場演出的空檔,花了5分鐘左右的時間討論出來的,
這5分鐘當中,大概有4分鐘是在"灰" 彼此的英文(這又是另一件有趣的事),
The Orieantal Song I work with DIR
is taken 5 mins. for discussion when we were at Dàn Shuǐ 's perfromece's break time
we trying to understing each other's English around 4 mins. in this 5 mins. (It is another instersting story )
在快速有重點的了解彼此的想法之後,DIR的團長Teo,
決定重新編寫一首七分鐘的曲目,而我們在2小時之內便將它完成
after we understing each other's point quickly and fast , the Chief of DIR -Teo
decide composs a new one around 7 mins. And we finised in 2 hours
由於我是即興,所以只要他們能將曲目完成,我就能夠發揮.
DIR此行前來4個人,是鼓手也是傳統舞蹈的舞者,
因此無論在配器和節奏動線上,充份的展現了Teo的功力,
I am a improvisational , if thye can complete the song then I will know what can I do
there are 4 drummers also Turkish triditional dance dancers in DIR
no matter in the rhyme of rhythme or adpat intruments , Teo's ability pressent !
曲目當中所呈現的層次和呼吸,都留給我很多的空間去表現,
當然我也不吝惜的與每位鼓手做最好的配合,盡力達到曲目及團體的完整度.

and I am not stingy do my best with each drummer for completed the song and perfromece as a group
多年來我曾經和世界各地的鼓手合作過,
每一位鼓手對於Orieantal Song 的想法其實都大同小異,
但Teo卻能以包含土耳其優雅溫柔的傳統音樂曲式,
將整體的起承轉折編排的不落俗套,
這同時也增加了我演出的靈感,
I was work with drummer comes from different countrys ,
it is not much diffrident of their Orieantal Song
but Teo combine the graceful of Turkish triditional music pattern
made this compose refined and it inspire me more then usual
也因此我們創作出了這首,
看似溫柔卻充滿層次分明的作品
也因為我們彼此融入這首豐富的雀躍之中
we created a bright layer with tender works beause this .
we jumping this rich joy ,
所以演出前,留給彼此感受的時間多過於綵排的時間
綵排對我們來說
只不過是在於確認整體演出的流程而己
so we leave space and time to feel it to each other
for us , resheral just a process for check
演出時的彼此交會對談,勝過於技巧的展現
演出後對彼此的感謝和分享,更使我們的心,保持對這首共同創作曲目的溫度
